  • What is a Living Shoreline?

    A living shoreline is a protected, stabilized water edge made from Natural Materials including: rock, sand, and plants.

  • What is a hardened Shoreline?

    Hardened Shorelines are the installation of artificial structures such as. concrete or steel walls, riprap, timber or vinyl borders consisting of large stones or boulders.

  • Are you licensed and insured?

    Ward's Marine, Inc. is a licensed MD Marine Contractor (#017) as well as holds a MHIC (MD Home Improvement Contractor). We have liability insurance as well as Workman's Compensation insurance for all of our employees.

  • Do you offer free estimates?

    Yes, we offer free estimates! We would be happy to take a look at your project and give our professional opinion. Please fill out the contact us form and we will contact you to schedule a site visit at your property.

  • What Areas in Maryland do you service?

    While the majority of our work is mainly on the Patuxent River and its tributaries; we have done projects on the Potomac and other areas on the Chesapeake Bay. We are capable of working anywhere in the State of Maryland.
